3. What This Policy Covers

This Policy covers the PantherVPN apps, websites, APIs, and customer support channels.

4. Information We Collect

4.1 Account and Profile

We collect minimal account metadata required to operate your subscription, which may include:

  • User ID from Supabase authentication
  • Username
  • Plan flags such as plan_1_month, plan_3_months, plan_1_year, plan_3_years
  • is_active and active_until
  • Payment references such as Stripe customer ID or crypto invoice ID and payment status
  • Platform or app version used to access the service
  • Optional support contact email if you provide it

4.2 Payments

Card payments are processed by third-party processors. We do not store full card numbers or security codes. Crypto payments are handled through the selected crypto payment processor. These processors act as independent controllers or processors under their own privacy notices.

4.3 Support

If you contact support we process the details you provide to resolve your request. If you include an email address it will be used only for support follow-up and then deleted when the case is closed unless retention is required by law.

4.4 Logs Related to Operation

We operate with a zero activity logs approach. We do not store browsing history, DNS queries, traffic content, or connection timestamps tied to a user identity. Real time operational counters may be used to keep systems running and prevent abuse, and are not retained as historical activity logs linked to users.

Temporary operational data (such as server load metrics or session counts) may be processed in memory to maintain service reliability but is never stored in a way that identifies users or their activity.

4.5 Website Analytics

We do not use web analytics tools that track individual users across sites. Basic server logs may be kept for security and reliability, separate from VPN traffic.

4.6 Tracking and Third-Party Advertising

PantherVPN does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies that follow users across apps or websites owned by other companies. We do not share or sell personal information for advertising purposes.

5. How We Use Information

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Provide and operate the VPN service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Detect and prevent fraud and abuse using non content signals
  • Communicate about your account and provide support
  • Comply with legal obligations

6. Legal Bases

Where UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract to provide the service, our legitimate interests in operating a secure service and preventing abuse, and compliance with legal obligations.

7. Sharing

We share data with service providers that help us operate the service such as authentication, payment processing, and customer support. These providers are bound by appropriate agreements. We may share information when required by law or to respond to lawful requests. We do not sell personal data.

8. International Transfers

Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required by law.

9. Data Retention

Account metadata is kept while your account is active and for a short period afterward for accounting or legal purposes. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve the request unless law requires longer retention. We do not retain activity logs of your browsing traffic.

10. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object or restrict certain processing. To exercise your rights contact kyle@kaizendevelopment.uk. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

12. Service Access

The service is not intended for children under 18. If we learn that a child has created an account we will delete the account where appropriate.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. If changes are material we will notify you by posting the new Policy and updating the date above.
